Jerry Brainum Then

Jerry Brainum was born on August 29, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He began lifting weights at the age of 14, and by the time he was 18, he had won his first bodybuilding competition. Brainum went on to win numerous other bodybuilding competitions, including the NPC National Championships in 1990 and the IFBB Mr. Olympia in 1991.

Brainum’s bodybuilding career was cut short in 1992 when he was diagnosed with a heart condition. He underwent surgery to correct the condition, but he was forced to retire from bodybuilding. Brainum has since gone on to become a successful businessman and author.

Brainum is married to his wife, Terri, and they have two children. He is also a devout Christian.
