Jim Manion was born on September 14, 1960, in New York City. He began bodybuilding at the age of 14, and by the time he was 18, he had won the Mr. America title. Manion went on to become one of the most successful bodybuilders in the world, winning the Mr. Olympia title four times (1984, 1988, 1991, and 1992). He also won the Arnold Classic twice (1989 and 1990). Manion retired from bodybuilding in 1993 and has since worked as a personal trainer and fitness consultant.
