Dennis James Then

Dennis James was born on May 31, 1966, in Heidelberg, Germany, to an American serviceman and a German mother. He moved to the United States when he was two years old and grew up in New Jersey. James began bodybuilding at the age of 13 and quickly became one of the top amateur bodybuilders in the country.

In 1990, James turned professional and began competing in the IFBB. He quickly rose through the ranks and in 1997, he won the Night of Champions, one of the most prestigious bodybuilding competitions in the world. James continued to compete at a high level throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, and in 2004, he finally won the Mr. Olympia title.

James successfully defended his Mr. Olympia title in 2006, but he retired from bodybuilding competition in 2007. He has since worked as a personal trainer and has made appearances on several television shows and movies.

Dennis James Now
