Stan De Longeaux was born in France in 1945. He began lifting weights at a young age and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. In 1965, he won the Mr. France bodybuilding competition. He went on to compete in the Mr. Universe competition in 1966, where he placed second. In 1967, he won the Mr. Europe competition. De Longeaux retired from competitive bodybuilding in 1971.
De Longeaux is considered one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. He was known for his incredible physique, which was characterized by its symmetry, balance, and definition. He was also known for his innovative training methods, which he shared in his book, “The Weider System of Bodybuilding.” De Longeaux’s training methods were based on the principle of progressive overload, which involves gradually increasing the weight or resistance used in workouts over time. He also emphasized the importance of nutrition and rest in bodybuilding.
De Longeaux is married to his wife, Monique, and they have two children. He currently lives in France and is involved in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and consultant.
