**Early Life and Family Background**

Rasto Valent was born on October 24, 1985, in Trencin, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). He comes from a family of athletes, with his father being a former professional soccer player and his mother a gymnast. Valent began lifting weights at the age of 15, and quickly discovered his passion for bodybuilding.

**Bodybuilding Career**

Valent’s bodybuilding career began in 2005, when he competed in his first competition, the Slovakian National Championships. He placed second in the junior category, and went on to win the overall title the following year. In 2007, Valent made his international debut at the World Championships, where he placed 14th in the junior category.

Over the next few years, Valent continued to improve his physique and compete in major bodybuilding competitions. He won the Arnold Classic Europe in 2011 and 2012, and the New York Pro in 2013. In 2014, he made his Olympia debut, placing 12th.
