Pasquale D’Angelo was born on December 12, 1980, in Brooklyn, New York. He began lifting weights at an early age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. In 1993, he won the Mr. Teenage New York bodybuilding competition. After graduating from high school, D’Angelo attended the University of Maryland, where he continued to train and compete in bodybuilding. In 1997, he won the NPC National Bodybuilding Championships and earned his professional card. D’Angelo went on to compete in several professional bodybuilding competitions, including the Mr. Olympia.

D’Angelo has competed in numerous powerlifting and strongman competitions throughout his career. In 1995, he won the American Powerlifting Federation (APF) National Powerlifting Championships. In 1996, he won the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) World Powerlifting Championships. In 1997, he won the World Strongman Championships. D’Angelo has also set several world records in powerlifting and strongman, including the world record for the most weight lifted in the deadlift (1,100 pounds).
