Pablo Ayala Vela was born on March 2, 1986, in Venezuela. He began lifting weights at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. In 2006, he won the Mr. Venezuela bodybuilding competition. This victory launched his international bodybuilding career.
Vela went on to compete in numerous bodybuilding competitions around the world. He won the Mr. Olympia competition in 2012 and 2013. He is also a two-time winner of the Arnold Classic competition.
Vela is married to Yaneth Garcia. The couple has two children.
