Angel Calderon Frias was born on March 17, 1982, in Madrid, Spain. He started lifting weights at the age of 16 to improve his performance in soccer. However, he soon discovered his passion for bodybuilding and decided to pursue it as a career.
Frias won his first bodybuilding competition in 2005 at the age of 20. He went on to win multiple regional and national titles, including the Spanish National Bodybuilding Championships in 2007 and 2008.
In 2009, Frias turned professional and began competing in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB). He quickly rose through the ranks, winning the IFBB Diamond Cup in 2010 and the IFBB Arnold Classic Europe in 2011.
Frias is known for his impressive physique, which features a large and well-defined chest, arms, and legs. He is also known for his strength, which he demonstrated by setting a world record in the bench press in 2015.
