Landon Evans was born in 1983 in San Diego, California. He began lifting weights at a young age and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. By the time he was 18, he was competing in local bodybuilding competitions. In 2004, he won the NPC Teenage Nationals and earned his pro card.

Evans turned pro in 2005 and began competing in the IFBB Pro League. He quickly rose through the ranks, winning the 2007 Arnold Classic Europe and the 2008 New York Pro. In 2009, he made his Mr. Olympia debut, finishing in 13th place. He continued to compete in the Mr. Olympia for the next several years, with his best finish being 6th place in 2012.
