Ibragim Samadov was born in 1984 in Dagestan, Russia. He began bodybuilding at the age of 16 and quickly rose through the ranks of the sport. In 2006, he won the Mr. Russia title and went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia in 2007. Samadov placed 15th in his first Olympia appearance, but he continued to improve and eventually placed 5th in 2011.

Samadov is known for his muscular physique and his dedication to the sport. He trains six days a week and eats a strict diet to maintain his physique. Samadov is also a successful businessman and has his own line of supplements.
