Chris Cormier was born on August 19, 1967, in Palm Springs, California, United States. He began weightlifting at the age of 15, and quickly developed a passion for the sport. By the time he was 19, he had won his first bodybuilding competition.

Bodybuilding Career

Cormier’s bodybuilding career took off in the early 1990s. He won the NPC Nationals in 1991 and 1992, and the IFBB Arnold Classic in 1993 and 1995. In 1996, he placed second at the Mr. Olympia competition, behind Dorian Yates.

Cormier is married to Julie Cormier, and they have two children together. He is also a devout Christian.
