Hassan Mostafa was born on January 15, 1989, in Alexandria, Egypt. He began bodybuilding at the age of 16, and quickly rose through the ranks, winning his first national championship at the age of 19. In 2012, he won the Mr. Olympia title, becoming the first Egyptian to do so. He has since won the title three more times, in 2013, 2014, and 2017.
