Paul Demayo was born on May 12, 1965, in Montreal, Canada. He is a professional bodybuilder, personal trainer, and author. Demayo began bodybuilding in his early 20s, and quickly became one of the top bodybuilders in Canada. He won the Canadian National Bodybuilding Championships in 1990, and went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition in 1991 and 1992. Demayo retired from competitive bodybuilding in 1993, and has since focused on his personal training and writing career.

Demayo is married to his wife, Tina, and they have two children. He is also the founder of the Demayo Fitness Institute, which provides personal training and nutrition counseling to clients all over the world.
