Keiji Mutoh Then
Keiji Mutoh was born on October 23, 1962, in Tokushima, Japan. He began training in martial arts at a young age, and by the time he was in high school, he was a skilled wrestler. After graduating from high school, Mutoh moved to Tokyo to pursue a career in professional wrestling.
Mutoh made his professional wrestling debut in 1984 for the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotion. He quickly rose through the ranks, and in 1987, he won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship for the first time. Mutoh held the title for over a year, and during that time, he became one of the most popular wrestlers in Japan.
In addition to his success in professional wrestling, Mutoh has also competed in bodybuilding. He won the Mr. International Bodybuilding Championship in 1995, and he has also competed in the Mr. Olympia contest.
Mutoh is a married father of two children. He is a devout Christian, and he is also a member of the Japanese Red Cross Society.

Keiji Mutoh Now
