Jürgen Köhler was born in Germany in 1965. He began bodybuilding in his early 20s, and quickly rose through the ranks of the sport. In 1990, he won the Mr. Germany competition. He then went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition, where he placed in the top 10 several times.
