Dietmar Haubold was born in Germany in 1969. He began bodybuilding at the age of 16 and quickly made a name for himself in the sport. In 1994, he won the IFBB Mr. Germany title. He went on to compete in the IFBB Mr. Olympia competition in 1996, where he finished 15th. He continued to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition for the next several years, with his best finish being 6th place in 2001.
