Daron Lytle Then

Daron Lytle was born on November 5, 1973, in Louisville, Kentucky. He began lifting weights at the age of 14, and quickly developed a passion for the sport. Lytle competed in his first bodybuilding competition in 1990, and won the overall title at the NPC Teen Nationals. He went on to win the NPC National Championships in 1993 and turned pro in 1994.

Lytle’s professional bodybuilding career was marked by both success and setbacks. He won the Arnold Classic in 1999, and placed in the top five at the Mr. Olympia competition four times. However, he also struggled with injuries and personal problems, which derailed his career at times.

Despite the challenges, Lytle never gave up on his bodybuilding dreams. He made a comeback in 2012 and won the Masters Olympia competition in 2013. He continues to compete today and is an inspiration to bodybuilders of all ages.

Daron Lytle is married to Kami Lytle, and they have three children. He is also a close friend of fellow bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman.
