Attila Mezey Then

Attila Mezey was born on November 8, 1969 in Budapest, Hungary. He began weightlifting at the age of 16 and quickly developed a passion for the sport. Mezey competed in his first bodybuilding competition in 1991 and won the Hungarian Junior National Championship. He went on to win the Hungarian National Championship in 1993 and 1994.

In 1995, Mezey made his international debut at the European Bodybuilding Championships. He placed 6th in the heavyweight division and earned his pro card. Mezey went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition for the first time in 1997. He placed 11th in his debut and went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition for the next seven years.

Mezey’s best Mr. Olympia placing was 11th in 2003. He also competed in the Arnold Classic competition four times, placing 5th in 2002. Mezey retired from bodybuilding in 2005.

Mezey is married to his wife, Judit. They have two children, a son and a daughter.

Attila Mezey Now

Mezey retired from bodybuilding in 2005 and now works as a personal trainer and nutritionist. He also owns his own gym in Budapest. Mezey is still passionate about bodybuilding and helps others to achieve their fitness goals.
