Keone Pearson was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 27, 1978. He began lifting weights at the age of 15, and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. In 2001, he won the Overall title at the NPC USA Championships, and in 2002, he placed second at the IFBB Mr. Olympia contest.
Pearson’s bodybuilding career was cut short in 2003, when he suffered a serious injury to his bicep. He underwent surgery, but the injury never fully healed, and he was forced to retire from competitive bodybuilding.
After retiring from bodybuilding, Pearson worked as a personal trainer and fitness consultant. He also appeared in several fitness magazines and DVDs. In 2010, he founded the Keone Pearson Fitness Academy, which provides online and in-person fitness training programs.
