Jerry Scalesse Then
Jerry Scalesse was born on March 18, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York. He began lifting weights at the age of 13, and by the time he was 15, he was competing in bodybuilding competitions.
Scalesse turned professional in 1987, and he quickly rose through the ranks. In 1988, he won the NPC USA Championships, and in 1989, he placed 3rd at the Mr. Olympia.
Scalesse continued to compete throughout the 1990s, and he remained one of the top bodybuilders in the world. He won the Arnold Classic in 1994, and he placed 2nd at the Mr. Olympia in 1995.

Life History
Scalesse retired from bodybuilding in 1998, and he has since worked as a personal trainer and nutritionist. He is also the author of several books on bodybuilding and fitness.
