Sergio Oliva: Then
Sergio Oliva was born in Cuba in 1941. He began weightlifting at a young age, and by the time he was 20 years old, he had already won several bodybuilding competitions in Cuba.
In 1962, Oliva defected to the United States, and two years later he won the Mr. America title. He went on to win the Mr. Olympia title three times, in 1967, 1968, and 1969. Oliva was known for his incredible symmetry and muscularity, and he is considered one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time.
Oliva retired from bodybuilding in 1980, and he went on to work as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant. He also appeared in several movies and television shows.
