Robert Forstemann Then
Robert Forstemann was born on March 18, 1962, in Germany. He began bodybuilding at the age of 16, and quickly rose through the ranks of the sport. In 1984, he won the German Junior Bodybuilding Championships, and in 1985, he won the World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships. Forstemann turned professional in 1986, and competed in the Mr. Olympia competition for the first time in 1988. He placed 10th that year, and went on to place in the top 10 in the Mr. Olympia competition for the next several years.
Forstemann retired from competitive bodybuilding in 1995. He has since worked as a personal trainer and fitness consultant. He has also appeared in several bodybuilding magazines and videos.
Forstemann is married to his wife, Brigitte, and they have two children. He currently lives in Germany.
