Richard Sikorski: Then
Richard Sikorski was born on March 23, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri. He began lifting weights at the age of 16 and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. In 1981, he won the Mr. Missouri Teenager title, and in 1982, he won the Mr. Missouri Junior title.
In 1983, Sikorski turned professional and joined the IFBB Pro League. He quickly rose through the ranks, winning the Mr. America title in 1985 and the Mr. Olympia title in 1986. He was the first bodybuilder to win both titles in the same year.
Sikorski retired from bodybuilding in 1990, and he has since worked as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant. He is also a motivational speaker and has authored several books on bodybuilding and fitness.
Sikorski is married and he has two children.
