Orville Burke Then

Orville Burke was born in Jamaica on  May 18, 1963 . He began lifting weights at the age of 16, and quickly developed a passion for the sport. In 1986, he won the Mr. Jamaica title, and the following year he placed second at the World Championships.

Burke turned professional in 1988, and competed in the IFBB Pro League for several years. He won several major titles, including the Arnold Classic and the Ironman Pro Invitational. He also placed in the top five at the Mr. Olympia competition on several occasions.

Burke retired from competitive bodybuilding in 2002. He has since worked as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant. He is also a motivational speaker and author.

Burke is married and has two children. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
