David Paul Bodybuilder Then
David Paul was born on March 8, 1957, in Hartford, Connecticut, United States. He began lifting weights in high school and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. After graduating, he moved to California to pursue his bodybuilding career.
Paul quickly rose through the ranks of bodybuilding, winning numerous competitions and titles. In 1981, he won the Mr. America title, and in 1982, he won the Mr. Olympia title, the most prestigious bodybuilding competition in the world.
Paul’s bodybuilding career was cut short in 1985 when he suffered a serious shoulder injury. He underwent surgery, but he was never able to regain his former strength. He retired from bodybuilding in 1987.
After retiring from bodybuilding, Paul worked as a personal trainer and fitness consultant. He also appeared in several movies and television shows.
