Charles Glass Bodybuilder: Then

Charles Glass was born on October 10, 1960, in New York City. He began lifting weights at the age of 14 and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. By the age of 18, he had won several local bodybuilding competitions. In 1980, he placed second in the Mr. America competition. The following year, he won the Mr. Universe competition.

Glass’s bodybuilding career was cut short in 1983 when he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. He underwent surgery and chemotherapy, and was eventually declared cancer-free. However, the cancer had taken a toll on his body, and he was forced to retire from competitive bodybuilding.
