Anibal Lopez was born in 1974 in Puerto Rico. He began lifting weights at the age of 14, and by the time he was 18, he was competing in bodybuilding shows. Lopez quickly rose through the ranks, and in 1996, he won the Mr. Puerto Rico title. He went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia contest several times, and in 2003, he placed 6th. Lopez is also a successful businessman. He owns several gyms and supplement companies, and he has appeared in numerous fitness magazines.
