Kawak began bodybuilding at the age of 16 and quickly rose through the ranks of amateur bodybuilding. He won the Mr. Lebanon title in 2002, and the Mr. Asia title in 2004. In 2005, he made his IFBB professional debut and has since competed in numerous professional bodybuilding competitions.
