### History
Mark Erpelding was born on September 29, 1959, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He began lifting weights at the age of 14 and quickly developed a passion for the sport. By the time he was 18, he was competing in bodybuilding competitions and had won several local and regional titles.
In 1980, Erpelding won the Mr. Minnesota title and earned his professional card. He went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition four times, finishing in the top 10 each time. In 1984, he won the World Pro Championships.
Erpelding retired from competitive bodybuilding in 1987 and went on to work as a personal trainer and fitness consultant. He also founded his own supplement company, Erpelding Nutrition.

Mark Erpelding is married to his wife, Debbie. They have two children, a son named Mark Jr. and a daughter named Ashley.
