Gary Strydom Then
Gary Strydom was born on June 14, 1969, in Windhoek, Namibia. He began lifting weights at the age of 16, and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. In 1990, he won the Mr. Namibia bodybuilding competition, and in 1995, he won the Mr. South Africa bodybuilding competition. Strydom went on to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition, the most prestigious bodybuilding competition in the world, six times, placing in the top 10 each time.
Competitive History
Strydom’s competitive history is impressive. He has won numerous bodybuilding competitions, including the Mr. Olympia competition, the Arnold Classic, and the IFBB World Championships. He has also placed in the top 10 at the Mr. Olympia competition six times.
Life History
Strydom is married to his wife, Natasha, and they have two children. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he owns and operates a gym. Strydom is also a successful author and motivational speaker.
