Raúl Carrasco-Jiménez was born in Spain in 1987. He began bodybuilding at the age of 16, and quickly became one of the most promising young bodybuilders in the world. In 2010, he won the Mr. Olympia Amateur title, and turned pro in 2011.
Carrasco-Jiménez has competed in numerous professional bodybuilding competitions, including the Mr. Olympia, where he placed 12th in 2013 and 10th in 2014.
Carrasco-Jiménez is married to fellow bodybuilder Janet Layug, and they have one child together.
