Milos Sarcev was born on July 29, 1964, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He began lifting weights at the age of 15, and by the time he was 20, he had won the Mr. Yugoslavia bodybuilding title. In 1985, Sarcev emigrated to the United States, where he continued to compete in bodybuilding competitions. He won the Mr. Universe title in 1990 and the Arnold Classic in 1995. Sarcev retired from professional bodybuilding in 2004, but he continues to lift weights and train others.

Sarcev is married to Monica Brant, and they have two children. He is also the co-founder of the Sarcev Nutrition supplement company.
