Mickey Hargitay Then
Mickey Hargitay was born in Budapest, Hungary, on January 6, 1926. He began his bodybuilding career in the early 1950s, and he quickly became one of the most popular bodybuilders in the world. He won the Mr. Universe title in 1955, and he was inducted into the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) Hall of Fame in 1994.
Hargitay was also a successful actor and stuntman. He appeared in over 50 films, including “Hercules” (1958), “Samson and the Seven Wonders of the World” (1960), and “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” (1964). He also performed stunts in several films, including “Ben-Hur” (1959) and “Spartacus” (1960).
Hargitay was married to actress Jayne Mansfield from 1958 to 1964. They had three children together.

Mickey Hargitay Now
Mickey Hargitay died on September 14, 2006, at the age of 80. He was survived by his three children.
