Max O’Connor was born on January 1, 1975, in Dublin, Ireland. He began lifting weights at the age of 15, and quickly developed a passion for bodybuilding. In 1998, he won the Irish National Bodybuilding Championships, and in 2000, he won the European Bodybuilding Championships. O’Connor retired from competitive bodybuilding in 2005, but he continues to train and compete in powerlifting.
O’Connor is married to his wife, Sarah, and they have two children. He is also the owner of his own gym, Max’s Gym, in Dublin.
