Jozsef Nagy was born on born 14 July 1953, in Hungary. He began his bodybuilding career in the early 1990s and quickly rose through the ranks. In 1995, he won the Hungarian National Bodybuilding Championships, and in 1997, he won the World Championships.
Nagy’s biggest victory came in 1998 when he won the Mr. Olympia title. He is the first and only Hungarian bodybuilder to win this prestigious title. Nagy retired from competitive bodybuilding in 2003, but he has remained active in the sport as a coach and mentor.
Nagy is married and has two children. He lives in Hungary, where he runs a successful gym.
