Flex Wheeler, born Kenneth Wheeler on August 23, 1965, in Fresno, California, is an American former professional bodybuilder. He is best known for his four consecutive Arnold Classic titles (1993-1996) and his runner-up finishes at the Mr. Olympia competition in 1993, 1998, and 1999.
Wheeler began weightlifting at the age of 13 after being inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger. He quickly developed a passion for the sport and began competing in bodybuilding shows at the age of 18.
Wheeler’s early bodybuilding career was marked by success. He won the Teenage Mr. California title in 1983 and the NPC USA Championships in 1989. In 1990, he turned pro and began competing in the IFBB professional bodybuilding circuit.
Wheeler’s IFBB career was highlighted by his four consecutive Arnold Classic titles. He also finished second at the Mr. Olympia competition three times, in 1993, 1998, and 1999.
