In 2013, he won the NPC Teenage Nationals and earned his pro card. Lunsford turned pro in 2015 and has since competed in numerous IFBB Pro League events.
Lunsford’s father, Derek Sr., was also a bodybuilder and competed in the NPC. His mother, Jennifer, was a stay-at-home mom. Lunsford has two older sisters, Danielle and Nicole.
