In 1983, Fox turned professional and began competing in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) professional bodybuilding circuit. He quickly rose through the ranks, and in 1985, he won the Mr. Olympia title, the most prestigious bodybuilding title in the world.
