Berend Breitenstein Then

Berend Breitenstein was born on October 23, 1977, in Wittenberg, Germany. He began his bodybuilding career in 1998, competing in the German Natural Bodybuilding Federation (GNBF). He won the GNBF Junior National Championships in 1999 and went on to win the overall title in 2000. After winning the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) World Championships in 2001, Breitenstein was invited to competed in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) World Championships in 2002. He placed 15th in the heavyweight class and decided to retire from bodybuilding.

Breitenstein returned to bodybuilding in 2007, competing in the IFBB German Pro Bodybuilding Championships. He won the heavyweight class and earned his pro card. In 2008, he competed in the IFBB Arnold Classic and placed 13th. He also competed in the IFBB Europa Super Show in 2008 and placed 8th. Breitenstein retired from bodybuilding again in 2008, but he returned in 2011. He competed in the IFBB Sacramento Pro Bodybuilding Championships and placed 10th. He retired from bodybuilding again in 2011.

Breitenstein has been married to his wife, Steffi, since 2003. They have two children, a son named Leonard and a daughter named Lilli.

Berend Breitenstein Now

Breitenstein currently resides in Germany. He is the owner of a gym and supplements company. He is also a personal trainer and motivational speaker. Breitenstein is an active member of the bodybuilding community and is still involved in the sport.
