Petr Vanis was born on January 23, 1985, in the Czech Republic. He began lifting weights at a young age, and by the time he was 18, he was competing in bodybuilding competitions. In 2010, he won the IFBB World Amateur Championships, and in 2012, he finished third at the Mr. Olympia competition.
Vanis continued to compete in bodybuilding, and in 2018, he won the Mr. Olympia title. He is the first Czech bodybuilder to win the Mr. Olympia title.
Vanis is also a successful businessman. He owns a gym in the Czech Republic, and he has also launched his own line of supplements.
