Paul London Then
Paul London was born on April 16, 1980, in Austin, Texas, and grew up with two older brothers, Daniel and Jonathan.
Tragically, Daniel’s life was cut short in 1996 when he was killed by a drunk driver at the age of nineteen.
Jonathan, London’s other brother, has pursued a career as a music video director.
London attended Westlake High School in Texas, where he was instrumental in establishing the school’s first wrestling team.
As the team’s captain and first varsity letterman, he set a record for the fastest pinfall time, which was later surpassed by two-time State Champion Justin Wood.
This early involvement in wrestling laid a solid foundation for London’s future career in professional wrestling.
Paul London Wrestling Career
Paul London’s wrestling career began shortly after high school when he trained at various wrestling schools, including one in a trailer park in West Memphis, Arkansas, and another run by Ivan Putski in North Austin, Texas.
He made his professional debut in 2000. London’s early career saw him make brief appearances in promotions like Pro Wrestling Zero-One (Zero1) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
In TNA, he competed primarily in the X Division and had notable matches, although he viewed his time there as a stepping stone rather than a long-term commitment.

London’s breakout came in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he debuted in March 2002 and quickly became a fan favorite due to his high-risk offensive style.
He engaged in significant feuds, particularly with Michael Shane, and won the ROH Number One Contender’s Trophy in December 2002.
Although he did not win the ROH Championship, his performances were highly acclaimed.

London also had a successful run in WWE, where he formed notable tag teams with Billy Kidman and Brian Kendrick, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship and the Cruiserweight Championship.
After a hiatus from WWE, London returned to the independent circuit, competing for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and other promotions, where he continued to build on his reputation as a skilled and dynamic performer.
