Frank Benedict Gerdelman, known in the wrestling world as Frankie Kazarian, was born on August 4, 1977, in Palm Springs, California.

Despite only a month of training, Kazarian made his debut match against Freight Train Dan, showcasing his dedication and potential. 

After eight months at Kowalski’s school, he returned to Southern California and began working on the independent circuit, notably in the Empire Wrestling Federation, where he formed a tag team known as “Bad Influence” with Josh Galaxy.

Kazarian’s career took significant strides in the early 2000s. He joined Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW) and quickly gained recognition by forming a tag team with Nova known as “Evolution.” 

He became the first Millennium Pro Wrestling (MPW) World Champion and won the Ultimate Pro Wrestling Tag Team title with Nova. 

His talents also earned him opportunities in Japan, where he faced prominent wrestlers and participated in international tours.

In 2003, Kazarian became a key figure in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he won the inaugural PWG World Championship and defended it successfully against notable opponents.

Kazarian’s career continued to evolve with stints in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he achieved significant success, including multiple reigns as X Division Champion and World Tag Team Champion.

After leaving TNA in 2014, Kazarian joined Ring of Honor (ROH) and later formed the tag team “The Addiction” with Christopher Daniels. 

The team won multiple ROH Tag Team Championships and later expanded to include Scorpio Sky, forming SoCal Uncensored (SCU).

SCU’s success in ROH and subsequent move to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) marked another high point in Kazarian’s career, with him and Sky becoming the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions.
