Frances Benfatto, born on September 19, 1979, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a retired professional bodybuilder and IFBB Pro Card holder.
Her bodybuilding journey began in 2003 when she stumbled upon a fitness magazine and was inspired by the physiques of female bodybuilders.
Benfatto quickly immersed herself in the world of bodybuilding, training relentlessly and adopting a strict diet.
By 2007, she had won her first competition, the NPC Nationals, and in 2008, she earned her IFBB Pro Card.
Throughout her career, Benfatto competed in various bodybuilding shows, including the Arnold Classic and the Ms. Olympia.
She achieved several top-five finishes, including third place at the 2012 Ms. Olympia.
Family Background
Benfatto was raised in a working-class family in Montreal. Her father was a construction worker, and her mother was a homemaker. She has two older brothers.
