CM Punk, born Phillip Jack Brooks on October 26, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois, grew up in Lockport where he was shaped by a challenging family environment.

Punk’s success extended to the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship, which he won alongside Seth Skyfire.
