Theodore Marvin DiBiase Jr., known in the wrestling world as Ted DiBiase Jr., was born on November 8, 1982, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Ted DiBiase Jr. Wrestling Career

Ted DiBiase Jr. and his older brother Mike DiBiase began their professional wrestling journey under the guidance of Chris Youngblood in Amarillo, Texas. 

Their training continued at Harley Race’s Wrestling Academy, setting the foundation for their wrestling careers. 

The DiBiase brothers made their professional debut on July 8, 2006, for World League Wrestling (WLW), a promotion founded by Harley Race in Eldon, Missouri. 

Their debut marked the start of their wrestling journey, with Ted DiBiase Jr. achieving significant early success.

On February 17, 2007, the DiBiase brothers won the Fusion Pro Tag Team Championship by defeating Raheem Rashaad and Juntsi, showcasing their prowess as a tag team.

His FCW debut came on August 4, 2007, when he and Jake Hager defeated Keith Walker and Heath Miller in a tag team match.

In October 2007, DiBiase Jr. joined the Next Generation Hart Foundation faction, which included prominent wrestlers such as Harry Smith, TJ Wilson, Nattie Neidhart, and Teddy Hart. 

However, DiBiase Jr. soon distanced himself from the group and began a successful alliance with valet Maryse.

On December 18, 2007, DiBiase Jr. won the FCW Southern Heavyweight Championship by defeating TJ Wilson. 

Unfortunately, due to a series of injuries—including sciatica, a fractured knee, separated ribs, a broken finger, and bone spurs—he was unable to defend the title and relinquished it to Heath Miller on January 19, 2008.

These injuries led to a period of sporadic competition in FCW, where he participated in both tag team and singles matches.

DiBiase Jr.’s WWE television debut occurred on May 26, 2008. He quickly made an impact by forming a successful tag team with Cody Rhodes. 

Together, they won the World Tag Team Championship twice. The duo later joined forces with Randy Orton to form The Legacy faction, which played a significant role in WWE’s storylines during that time.
