Josh Duhamel was born on November 14, 1972, in Minot, North Dakota, where he grew up in a close-knit family. When he was in the fourth grade, his parents divorced.

Once in California, Josh Duhamel’s career began to take off as he entered the modeling industry. 

In 1997, he achieved significant recognition by winning the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) competition, earning the title of Male Model of the Year.
