Hadi Choopan was born on September 25, 1987, in Abnow, Iran. He began bodybuilding at the age of 16 and quickly rose through the ranks of Iranian bodybuilding. In 2011, he won the Iranian National Bodybuilding Championships, and in 2013, he won the Asian Bodybuilding Championships. In 2016, he qualified for the IFBB Mr. Olympia competition and finished in 15th place. In 2017, he improved to 11th place, and in 2018, he finished in 5th place.
